So you’ve ditched refined sugar and started using honey, maple syrup, or agave instead — go you! 👏 These natural sweeteners are often less processed and come with some trace minerals and antioxidants 💪
BUT... here's the catch:

🥄 1 tbsp honey/agave = 63 calories
🥄 1 tbsp maple syrup = 52 calories
🥄 1 tbsp refined sugar = 48 calories

While they may have a lower glycemic index (meaning they won't spike your blood sugar as quickly), they can still pack a calorie punch. 😬
