Our Story
Shenandoah Memorial Hospital is a community hospital with offerings that include a medical-surgical unit, 24-hour emergency services, outpatient surgery, cardiopulmonary services, medical imaging, diabetes management, inpatient and outpatient rehab, behavioral health services, sleep lab, wellness programs and health screenings.
Valley Health provides outstanding care to residents in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland through a system of six hospitals, and related facilities.

A sensory room for pediatric patients recently opened at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, specifically designed to provide a calming, interactive space for children who may become overstimulated easily. Within the room, you'll find weighted blankets, a bubble tube for visual and calming feedback, poppers and fidget toys, low lighting, a sound machine with soothing music and white noise, and ample space to play.
