Our Story
Tom DePetris’ Woodstock Functional Fitness. I am now offering fitness training and assisted stretch pain management services in my home studio as well as house call visits! Woodstock Functional Fitness offers specialized exercise and strength-training workouts crafted to achieve your specific health and fitness goals. Whether you are an athlete wanting to improve your peak performance, a musician dealing with pain/postural imbalances due to years of repetitive motion, or an older adult seeking an effective regimen to help boost energy, maintain your independence, and manage symptoms of illness or pain, (exercise is also good for your mind, mood, and memory), my studio is a safe and encouraging environment for doing so. I have designed a series of sequenced workouts using resistance bands, free weights and interval training that will rapidly increase your strength, endurance, flexibility as well as enhance your overall mood and well being.
Back, Neck, Shoulder pain? I also offer a stand alone manual stretch therapy for pain relief and wellness called “Integrated Positional Therapy”. (IPT) is a comprehensive assisted stretch program of recovery from both chronic and acute neuromuscular pain that is safe, effective, and gentle.
The primary cause of neuromuscular pain is muscle imbalances due to tight muscles that pull the frame of the body out of alignment. It is estimated that 80% of all pain is related to these muscle imbalances. IPT has been successfully used to address many neuromuscular conditions often when other approaches have failed. These conditions include: .neck, shoulder, and back pain .sciatica .plantar fasciitis .knee and ankle pain .tennis and golfer’s elbow .headaches .many other conditions. Relief from pain is often immediate and long-lasting. For more info or appointment contact Tom DePetris at 914-388-4237 tomdep56@yahoo.com
