The HOPE Center Woodstock

The HOPE Center Woodstock We provide support through offering free pregnancy tests and limited ultrasounds through our Medical Clinic, Options Medical.

Our passion is making sure women are equipped, educated, and empowered with the information and resources they need to make fully-informed decisions about their unplanned pregnancies. We are a place where women of all ages can go to be assisted with their decisions, and have access to free resources, free emotional support, and freedom to choose her own way.

Pete and his wife Christine are new supporters of The HOPE Center and this year as a Sponsored Walker, Pete has decided to walk 7 miles for life!

Similarly to our mission of The HOPE Center, Pete has his own nonprofit called Team Chariot, where he competes in active and outdoor challenges to encourage and support charities to communicate the message of hope that God has not forgotten you!

Meet Catharine, our Intake Specialist. She's the initial connection with patients who reach out to us for information on pregnancy resources and scheduling appointments.

When did you start working at the HOPE Center?
July 2022 as a volunteer, July 2024 as an employee

How did you get connected to The HOPE Center?
After Roe V. Wade was overturned, I wanted to work with a PRC looked up the closest one to me which was The HOPE Center.

How have you seen God work through this ministry?
Through the strong support everyone has for each other.

Favorite memory with The HOPE Center?
How I personally experienced the strong support from everyone here during my personal crisis.

Favorite bible verse?
2 Corinthians 4:1-6 - reminds me of my role in this ministry.

Fun fact about you?
I have never been on a cruise, or, eaten a Kristal burger.

Favorite color?
Blue

Favorite food?
Chicken w/capers and white wine cream sauce over angel hair pasta, w/sauteed spinach.

You have your own late night talk show, who do you invite as your first guest?
Rory McElroy, my favorite golfer. Hope to meet him someday!

You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
Praying Women by Anne Wilson.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Grilled Salmon with Thai Chili sauce over rice with broccoli. Another fav of my late husbands.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? As a child, a wife and mother living near the beach, this kid always wanted to be a dolphin trainer!

Last week, Sam and Sarah from one of our partners, Hillside Church, brought in a truckload of diapers, wipes, formula, and other baby supplies to support our clients participating in our Parenting Program.

Let’s support this mission together!

On May 16th we are having our annual Walk For Life and we would love for you to join us. Every year we come together to stand for life and carry out the mission of equipping pregnant women, men, and families to choose life.

We have raised $14,995 of our $90,000 goal and we are so expectant to see how God is going to show up in this. If you are passionate about our mission we would love for you to rally with us on hitting our goal.

Today The HOPE Center received an amazing donation of hand-knitted baby blankets, socks, and hats from Paulding County Needling Ladies.

These women come together to crochet and knit not just for The HOPE Center, but also for other organizations like Cobbs for Kids and nursing homes, creating blankets, prayer shawls, hats and so much more.

They are currently accepting yarn donations to continue their incredible work. If you’d like to support them, please reach out to our Community Engagement Director, Laura Haigler, at laurahaigler@hopectr.com and we’ll connect you.

Last week we had Tony Geist our Board President, share an amazing word from the 2026 Global Church Leaders Conference taken from Nehemiah 1, "Pray, Plan & Execute"on the power of faith that moves when we are obedient.

"Some only pray, but never move. Some plan, but never invite God. Some execute, but burn out because they act without divine direction"

He shared ministry and personal applications from the life of Nehemiah on how to:
1. Invite God first (Pray)
2. Steward the wisdom God gives (Plan)
3. Walk in Obedient faith (Execute)

He ended his message challenging us with these 3 questions:
What is God calling me to pray about more intentionally?
What needs clearer planning in my life or ministry?
Where do I need to step out in obedience?

"Trust in the Lord will all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make you paths straight" - Proverbs 3:5-6
