T A L L O W 🤍 B A L M!

what is it and why do we love it?

🤍 tallow is rendered down beef fat. It’s something that has been around for ages yet has become increasingly popular over the last couple years.

🤍 at first you might think it sounds pretty gross to put on your skin. Lol. but there seem to be many benefits to it whether you were ingesting it by say, cooking with it instead of olive oil, or any other types of oil… or using it topically. Lets talk topical!

🤍 A high-quality beef tallow contains many nutritional qualities. It’s high in vitamins like A, B3, D & K. pure tallow, like jojoba is close to our own skins natural oils. It absorbs into the skin quite easily.

🤍 It’s gentle and soothing! Tallow is often well-tolerated by sensitive skin types, making it a gentle option for those who may have allergies or sensitivities to other skincare ingredients.

🤍 Tallow can be used for multiple skin issues such as: eczema, wrinkles, diaper rash, sun burn, or generally dry skin. You can use it to help remedy any of these types of issues, or you can use it daily as a source of hydration and moisturization.

🤍 I personally love the texture. Its so soft, even before its whipped! To this batch I have added one of my favorite herbal infusions as well as You will love it!

oh my gosh, it’s been a minute lol. I must admit I am more active on the ole Instagram that I am on the page lol. So if you have Instagram, feel free to find and follow me there at .

I wanted to let everyone know that I have dropped off a batch of my spray away, all natural tick spray to Woodstock Creamery at Valleyside Farm. I know a lot of people purchase it every year, and it tends to go quickly. This year I dropped off a couple larger bottles that could be used either as a refill if you still have your bottle from previous years, or it comes with a spray attachment.

When I do use tick spray, it is this blend. Its been working for us for over 5 years now. If you are someone that does not like deet, or toxic chemicals in your products then I urge you to try it!

I will also be making up some more herbal bug balm (for those irritations from pesty bug bites) and also a jewelweed salve to help with poison ivy healing. Lots of infusions taking place right now so that I can have things ready soon!

✨ HAPPY OCTOBER! How is it possible we are two months away from 🎅🏼🎅🏼?!

✨So as anyone who reads my posts know, last year and this one have been very different than past years, with the addition of homeschooling here. So the time I would have to dedicate to my craft is not as much as it used to be. I am trying to find a day during the week (or at least part of a day) where I can dedicate specific time to making the goods. Im not the best at organizing my time, but I want to try because this is like the one thing that I do that is for me...(and for you!) So dont fret! I will have items available...just please be patient with me.

✨Fall is one of my FAVORITE seasons for my “kitchen witchery” lol. You cant go wrong with all the scents that scream “cozy”. (And if you know me... cozy is my jam! my oldest son takes after me there too haha!) I am going to make some small batch items to bring up to and then I will share any leftovers here...as always if there is anything you love or want for yourself send me a message! At this point I am not using my website as its just too much of a time suck right now to list everything. So IG is where Im at for now. And honestly its my favorite.

SO MUCH CHAMOMILE! there is so much more to harvest and still more coming up. never complaining though! it smells so good. might just pop a bouquet right on my kitchen table with some😍🌼

Hello!! Just checking in to say I am still here lol! I am not as active on my page, as I MUCH prefer Instagram. Its just so much simpler. Not to mention I am homeschooling AND also am enrolled in an Herbal school trying to finish my first course. It's been busy this year! However for those that dont have IG, I will try to share here a bit more often. Here it is! I had to upload screen shots bc they removed the option to post a NOTE (not sure WHY) but this is the updated list. Again, these are NOT all that is being offered, these are simply ideas. I do it every year for those who may be unsure of what they are looking for. Anything I have posted is always for purchase. I make baby items, items for mamas and mamas to be, men, etc! I also want to add: I have had some folks ask me about bath bombs...Sadly I have decided to no longer offer those for the foreseeable future. While I have made some really awesome ones, they are VERY time consuming, they use a lot of ingredients and when you have batches that dont set well and break, it is REALLY frustrating. The cost of ingredients for many of my items has gone up in the last year, as have the containers and glass bottles. So its quite the loss of time and money. BUT dont fret! I have a wonderful local friend who makes the most beautiful bath bombs (among other items). Her focus is using CBD in her products, but she will make bombs without it per request.

TWO OF MY FAV THINGS!

🎄December is here! I have to say, I have noticed many homes decorating and getting into the spirit of things over the last few weeks...I dont hate it! I think many of us are ready for something else to focus our energy on. We have been bombarded with (you know what) since Spring. Things have been weird, uncertain, questionable, depressing, etc around here. While all of us deal with things in our own ways, I think the majority are feeling the same as we enter the Christmas/holiday season. I cant be the only one adult who sees the lights outside and gets excited, or has been listening to Christmas music since before Thanksgiving haha! We just got back from Maine and we will be grabbing our tree hopefully today. Fall decor down, Christmas decor up! It’s an entire mood and we are just ready
