Tension in the abdominal muscles can contribute to low back pain, digestive discomfort, less effective breathing patterns, and more. These core muscles are important and often overlooked. In this session, we focused on the diaphragm and abdominal muscles to allow the left side of the rib cage to relax. As the muscles let go, the client felt the need to shift her body to match the changes in her body. She was able to move better and visible changes could be seen.
