A Heartfelt Thank You to Gentiva Hospice.
Today our community was truly touched as Gentiva Hospice joined us to honor our incredible veterans in celebration of Veterans Day 2025. Their team brought not only a beautiful ceremony of appreciation, but also a delicious cake that added a sweet touch to a very special day.Our veterans felt the love, respect, and recognition they so greatly deserve, and the room was filled with smiles, stories, and heartfelt gratitude. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to come together and celebrate the heroes who call our community home.

A warm thank-you to the lovely ladies of Hillside Church of Woodstock for visiting and blessing our residents with the Word of God and a meaningful time of communion. Your presence and kindness bring such light and comfort to our community. 🙏✨We’d also like to share our appreciation for Mr. Wayne, one of our wonderful residents, for starting a new devotion and sing-along group. His leadership and love for fellowship have created a beautiful space for residents to lift their voices and hearts in praise together. 🎶💒

Our residents set out once again for this month’s Golden Getaway, returning to the Foundation for Hospital Art to lend their creativity and kindness to another meaningful project. With each brushstroke, they helped bring a little more color and comfort to a very special place. 🎨💛

🎃 A huge thank-you to the Woodstock Elementary Student Council for bringing so much joy to our residents this morning! 👻 Our halls were filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of sweet treats as the students showed off their creative costumes and shared in some festive fun. 🍬🧡
Our residents had the best time handing out candy, admiring all the costumes, and feeling the Halloween spirit come alive. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday! 🎉✨

🧘‍♀️ Namaste, Friends!
We were thrilled to welcome Emma Lea Uvena back this week for another calming session of Chair Yoga! 🌿 Her positive energy and dedication have truly been a blessing to our community — helping our residents find their inner peace and gentle movement flow.
✨ Mark your calendars! Emma will return next Friday, October 31st at 11:00 AM, and we’re inviting all families to join in on the fun!
As a special treat, participants will receive a free wristband good for one week at Strongside of woodstock, where Emma also leads yoga every Saturday at 11:15 AM.
Let’s stretch, breathe, and share the zen together! 💛

🍂 Our Annual Fall Festival Was a Smash Hit! 🍁Residents and guests gathered for a day full of autumn magic — from a scrumptious harvest lunch to a show-stopping performance by the one and only Butch Reeves! 🎶 Our amazing hospice partners spoiled us with sweet treats and warm smiles (as always, we’re so grateful for them!) and just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better… Sparky made a surprise visit and stole the show! 🐴💛

🌸 Fun-Filled Friday at Camellia Place! 🌸
Our residents kicked off the morning with a peaceful and rejuvenating chair yoga session led by our wonderful new volunteer, Emma — what a refreshing way to start the day! 🧘‍♀️✨
The fun didn’t stop there! We wrapped up the afternoon with lots of laughs, music, and friendly competition during an exciting round of Musical Bingo, hosted by the amazing Emily from Agape Hospice! 🎶💃

🎶 What a toe-tapping day at Camellia Place! Our residents were treated to a musical jam session with the one and only Alan J Weisenberg ! From classic hits to crowd favorites, everyone was singing, clapping, and grooving along — thanks to Alan for bringing the good vibes and great tunes! 🎤💃🕺
