🫂 NJ FamilyCare Renewal Processing Update 🫂

Attached please find an important update from the NJ Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services.

Following the expiration of special federal Medicaid rules that were in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, NJ FamilyCare is required to initiate renewals for all members between April 2023 and March 2024. These renewals will confirm whether members continue to meet program requirements, and are eligible to remain enrolled in Medicaid coverage. If not, they may be eligible for continued coverage through employer-sponsored insurance, Medicare or GetCoveredNJ, the statewide health insurance marketplace.

This is a statewide effort and your organization can assist! Our website www.nj.gov/StayCoveredNJ includes videos, multi-lingual posters, and other resources to help get the word out. We also ask our community partners to continue to emphasize the importance of urgent response to any mail from NJ FamilyCare or the County Board of Social Services.

"Hi all, I am writing to inform you that I will be retiring from public education as of 7/1/2023. I will be assisting the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District in the preparation and continuation of services for the McKinney-Vento Region V area of Cumberland, Cape May and Salem County so that you can have the appropriate support, guidance and assistance that you will need to continue to serve your students who become homeless during the school year. Ms. Diane Cioffi, teacher and former administrator at the WPRSD, will be taking over the Regional Coordinator role going forward and she can be reached at cioffi.d@woodstown.org , Cell: 856-8052806, should you need assistance or wish to discuss the grant funding or programs we offer. Please see the attached flyers for our annual Summer STEM Workshops for children ages 8-12.

Each day of the workshops there will be two sessions.
Students are to sign up for one per day.
