Last Friday was another great morning as our friends from Kid's View came up to visit. We had story time, the great dice game and then the singing dancing song and a few round of duck, duck, goose! The kiddos bring us so much joy and to listen to all the stories after they leave is priceless. So many wonderful memories being made..

As the luck of the Irish would have it...Jan was here today and of course we are all Irish today! Jan played all of our favorite Irish tunes, including "Oh, Danny Boy", "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" and of course "My Wild Irish Rose". Then to our surprise Kid's View stopped by as they were on a Leprechaun hunt and the clues led them right to us! Jan accompanied them as they sang the "ABC" song. Then they were looking for another clue and the sneaky Leprechaun had given it to Shirley and once they found it they were off again. Now the question is....did they find the Leprechaun? We don't know the answer, but they sure were having a lot of fun looking!

Well we have lots of snow and the wind is blowing, but it's warm and sunny in the activity room as Rich Schroeder starts our week out right! It's the right way to start the week, good old country music, residents singing along, lots of clapping and good old fashioned toe tapping taking place! We enjoyed hearing songs from Johnny Cash, John Denver and the Startler Brothers to name a few. Thank Rich, we always look forward to seeing you!

The best way to end the week is with Kids View coming to entertain us. Today they sang songs to us including Old McDonald with scary creatures...Old McDonald had a ghost!! Then they played the big dice came where they would roll an activity and then roll to see how many times they had to so it! They clapped their hands and jumped up and down a whole bunch of times. Then Marvin thought they should play with the big beach ball! Needless to say Marvin was all smiles watching them jump on it and roll it back and forth. Thank you, kiddos we can't wait for you to visit again!
