Our Story
Drew & Frankie Pierson dealing with a sewer issue at Drew's 120 year old family home.
Three things I told Drew Pierson would never, ever happen. 1. We would not go out on a date. 2. We would not get married. 3. We would not move to Mississippi!!! Those of you that know us can see how well he listens to me.
I met Drew in September of 1998. We started dating in March of 1999. He brought me to visit Woodville Mississippi in April of ’99. We got married in January of '01. However, we did not move to Woodville until the fall of 2014. Sixteen years I stood firm on not moving to MS.
I will never forget the day that I relented. Drew came home from work and was pacing our living room floor like a caged tiger. He kept saying “I want to go to MS and you won’t go with me”. I wanted to explain all of the logical reasons, again of why we shouldn’t go to MS. I wanted to say, we have 2 businesses, property, family, church and friends here. Look at the numbers, people are leaving MS,not going to MS. This is a dumb idea! I didn’t say any of those things, I threw up my hands and said, “Drew, I do not understand your desire for wanting to be there, but if this is a God thing, then who am I to get in the way? We will figure out how to get to MS. As long as I can come back home 3 months out of the year, I think we can do this”. The rest is history and maybe one day I will share all the stories in a blog or book.
