April Spotlight: Lynsay Leatherbury, COTA

We’re halfway through April and still celebrating Occupational Therapy Month at Northwest Physical Therapy 💙✨

Today we’re excited to spotlight one of our amazing team members—Lynsay Leatherbury, COTA! 🌟

Lynsay has been part of the Northwest Physical Therapy family since August 2020. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, she serves six schools across Northwest Oklahoma, making a meaningful impact in the lives of so many students 🍎📚 She also treats patients at Newman Memorial Hospital in the swing bed setting, extending her care across multiple settings 🏥

She earned her Bachelor of Science from UCO and completed her occupational therapy assistant degree at OCC 🎓 With over 20 years of early childhood experience, Lynsay brings a special blend of knowledge, compassion, and creativity to her work 💡💕

When asked why she chose therapy, Lynsay shared that she is passionate about helping people and loves combining creativity with purposeful work—something she does so beautifully every day 🎨🫶

Outside of work, Lynsay enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts 🎶, traveling ✈️, gardening 🌱, puzzling 🧩, and being outdoors 🌞🌿

Lynsay is truly a gift to our team and the communities she serves 💫

April Spotlight: Cailyn Cassity, COTA

April is a special time to celebrate the impact of what we do—Happy Occupational Therapy Month! 💙

What a joy it is to spotlight our very own COTA, Cailyn Cassity!

While we are primarily a PT team, we are proud to recognize Cailyn, our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who leads our OT division at Newman Memorial Hospital and is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Cailyn chose occupational therapy because of her passion for helping others become the best version of themselves and making a meaningful difference in their lives. She truly has a heart of gold—always going the extra mile to serve her patients and making a huge difference. She loves seeing her patients accomplish things they once thought were impossible and gain greater independence along the way. ⭐️

In addition to her work at the hospital, Cailyn also provides pediatric care at Shattuck Public Schools, expanding her impact to even more lives in our community.

She shares how much she appreciates the people she works with, and it shows—our team works incredibly well together, and Cailyn is a vital and essential part of that success. 🙌

Outside of work, Cailyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

We are so thankful for Jackie and the past 8 years she has spent serving Northwest Oklahoma with our team.

As our Regional Billing and Collections Specialist, Jackie plays such an important role behind the scenes. Her dedication, reliability, and heart for helping both our team and our patients make a difference every single day.

Outside of work, she’s also a rockstar mama to her two sweet kids, and we love the heart she brings to both her family and our team.

March Spotlight: Chrystal Vineyard

This month, we are proud to spotlight Chrystal Vineyard, our incredible Regional Billings and Collections Manager!

Chrystal has been an essential part of our team since the very beginning. When Arron first opened the clinic, Chrystal stepped into the opportunity to serve as Front Office Manager — and from there, she helped build the strong administrative foundation that supports our clinics today.

Now serving as our Regional Billings and Collections Manager, Chrystal works remotely from home but is always ready to come in whenever she’s needed. Her role supports clinics stretching all the way from Alaska to Florida, which means no two days are ever the same — and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She loves that her work constantly brings something new, whether it’s solving a challenge, training new staff members, or learning something different each day. Her willingness to grow, adapt, and support others is one of the many reasons she is such a valued leader on our team.

Outside of the office, Chrystal’s greatest joy is her family. She treasures time with her grandkids, lovingly calling them her reward for raising her own children. In the springtime, you can often find her working in her flower beds, enjoying the season of renewal and watching everything bloom and grow — a beautiful reflection of the growth she helps cultivate within our organization as well. ⭐️

We are incredibly thankful for Chrystal’s dedication, heart, and leadership. Our team is stronger because of her, and we are so grateful she is on board with us. 🫶

Today we’re celebrating Michelle and her incredible dedication to our team at Northwest Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab! ⭐️

For the past dozen years (12 amazing years!), Michelle has faithfully served our patients and community with skill, compassion, and leadership. In addition to being a talented physical therapist, she also serves as the Director of Physical Therapy at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck.

Michelle treats patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, meeting people wherever they are in their recovery journey. Whether helping someone regain strength after surgery or guiding a patient through rehabilitation in the hospital, she brings steady encouragement, expertise, and heart to everything she does.

We are so thankful for her leadership, her dedication, and the warmth she brings to our team every single day. 💙
