Carla Hall, 60, passed away on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at her home in the Broxton Community after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 19th, 1962 in Lawton, OK to Darla Nell Vaughan and Robert Nicklos Vaughan, Jr. She grew up in the Anadarko area and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1980. After graduation she obtained her bachelors degree from USAO in Chickasha, OK. She married Gary Hall on November 7, 1996 in Wichita Falls, TX. She worked as the Anadarko Chamber of Commerce Director for 12 years before her health forced her to retire on September 19, 2014. During her time with the Chamber of Commerce she was instrumental in getting new granite monuments for the entry roads into the town of Anadarko, organizing the Christmas parades, the Forth of July Celebration and many other events held throughout the year. Her proudest accomplishment was the addition of Anadarko to the exit signs on I-44 at the Chickasha exits. She was a perfectionist and took great pride in her work. She had her poetry published and her music recorded. She was an artist and an avid gardener. She loved the beaches of Mexico and Jamaica so much she turned her back yard into a tropical paradise including a palm tree. She loved spending time fishing at the lake with her family.
