Inclusive EMDR and Psychotherapy

Inclusive EMDR and Psychotherapy I’m an LCSW with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with all ages and all walks of life.

I use CBT and EMDR to help people work through life’s tough spots—whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or just feeling stuck. I’m a born-and-raised Woodward local with a big heart for this community. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and every step has helped shape the therapist I am today. I use EMDR (it’s seriously magical) and CBT to help people make real changes in their lives. I

also love teaching folks how to communicate better and build stronger relationships. Starting my own practice is a huge leap, and I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve gotten from Woodward. This town has been so good to me, and I’m excited to give back however I can.

Real talk—therapists need gentle nudges too when life feels heavy or overwhelming. Lately, my guilty pleasure is this little app that reminds me to clean my room, brush my teeth, and finish my progress notes… and in return, my baby bird grows (think Tamagotchi vibes). Is it childish? Maybe. Do I care? Absolutely not. My bed is made, I’ve already had more water this morning than I drank all last week, and I’ve knocked out three breathing exercises—all for the love of my bird, Cheesecake.

The thing about grief is—none of us get through life without it. Whether it’s the death of someone we love, the loss of a friendship, changes in our health, or the end of a chapter we weren’t ready to close, grief finds its way in. And it looks different for all of us.

In my experience—both personal and professional—the most important part of grieving is having people who show up. The ones who check in, who let you feel what you need to feel, and who hold space when you’re too worn out to do it yourself.

To those of you who’ve done that for me lately—thank you. I’ve felt that support deeply in recent days, and I’m so grateful. Losing someone you love is never easy, but I’ve come to believe that grief is love with nowhere to go. My grandpa was the very definition of unconditional love, and I feel his loss profoundly. Your love has been felt and has helped light up some pretty heavy days.

I appreciate the texts, the calls, the grace as I’ve worked to juggle life, work, and loss this week. It’s meant more than I can say.
