This week we celebrate Long Term Care Administrators! Cheryl Picard is our fabulous administrator! She gives it all everyday! She is a great leader and pushes us to be our best! She pours her heart into the Friendly Home for our Residents and for her staff! We are grateful to have her as our leader!

Today we had quite the storm the blizzard of 2026! Being in Healthcare and have so many residents counting on us we have to be at work. We have to show up whether we have families or fur babies, we are at Friendly Home! It is our job, the path we chose! Today these “STORM TROOPERS” or “BLIZZARD HEROES” whichever you prefer showed up! Some stayed a night or two, some drove in, some walked! These staff members are truly awesome and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You are truly amazing! Friendly Home appreciates you all!

Today Friendly Home had its very own Olympic Games. The residents had torch cones during the opening games. They enjoyed playing hockey and a snow ball fight while watching some staff have their own fun! We celebrated Milan by having pizza and a special thank you to our Food Service Director for the delicious cannolis which were definitely a fan favorite! Our Activity Director Nancy and the Activities staff made the day enjoyable for all of us! Thank you to all who participated and congratulations to all who took home a medal!!
