•Testimony Tuesday •

“I just had my baby on April 17th and we were blown away by how amazing all of the staff was. I came into the hospital on the night of April 16th with consistent contractions that eventually slowed down and stopped. We decided to go home around 4 am on the 17th and five minutes after getting home my water broke. We rushed back to the hospital and things went quickly from there. We had Char as our nurse on the 17th and she was absolutely amazing through everything! She made me feel like I could do anything and helped me in so many ways through the whole process as a first time mom. I truly felt like I had known her forever and we just met. My baby arrived at 12:13pm with Dr. VandeVelde delivering. We were blown away by every staff member we interacted with and everyone was so kind and supportive towards us as we navigated a newborn and breastfeeding during our stay. Thank you so much WCH Women’s pavilion 🫶”

•Testimony Tuesday•

After a high risk pregnancy, I was induced at 37 weeks. Jackie was my nurse and took great care of me through the Foley bulb and pitocin process. At the end of her shift, I was 4-5cm and comfortable with the PERFECT epidural from Christina. Sydney came on shift and moved me all around, and helped to get me to 10cm. I pushed for several hours, with the best birthing team by my side. At 0625am, we welcomed the sweetest baby boy into the world thanks to Dr. Marcanthony, who was such a Godsend to us with her encouragement and support. Delivering at WCH Women's Pavilion was such an amazing experience, and we want to send a special thanks to all the nurses, lactation team, Bloomington Women's Care, and Akron Children's pediatric hospitalist group for giving us the best care we could have imagined!

🕯️ Today we remember the little lives gone too soon.
October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. A day to honor and remember all the babies lost during pregnancy, childbirth, or soon after birth. 💗💙

To every parent who carries a love that never fades, your baby’s memory matters, your grief is seen, and you are not alone.
Tonight at 7:00pm we light a candle and join the wave of light that shines across the world in remembrance. ✨
