Homemade Parmesan crusted chicken Caesar salad sub!!! RECIPE👇👇
Ingredients:
For the Parmesan Crusted Chicken:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Caesar Salad:
2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1/4 cup Caesar dressing
1/4 cup croutons
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
For the Sub:
2 sub rolls
2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
Instruction:
Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden.
Prepare the Caesar Salad:
In a bowl, toss together chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, croutons, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Assemble the Sub:
Slice the sub rolls in half and optionally spread mayonnaise on the inside of the rolls.
Place the baked Parmesan crusted chicken on the bottom half of each roll.
Generously top the chicken with the prepared Caesar salad.
Close the sub with the top half of the roll and serve immediately.
