As we gather in gratitude today, we give thanks for the blessings woven throughout our community, our residents, families, team members, volunteers, and friends who make West View such a special place.

We are deeply grateful for the laughter shared, the renewal found in our Wellness Center, the fellowship created through gatherings at The Connection, and the daily reminders of God’s goodness that surround us.

This season, we pause to thank Him for providing a community where faith, care, and compassion thrive.

We had the joy of celebrating Paul’s Dream On Resident Experience in the West View Chapel, a moment filled with music, memories, and heartfelt connection.

Paul’s dream was simple and meaningful: to listen to his favorite musician, John Schmid, perform live. Surrounded by his wife and loving family, Paul spent the afternoon singing along, smiling, and soaking in every note. It was a beautiful reminder of how music can bring comfort, spark memories, and bring people together.

Paul spent his life as a dedicated farmer, and he has a lifelong love for Allis-Chalmers tractors which inspired the bright orange decorations throughout. Every detail was chosen to honor the life he’s lived and the passions that shaped him.

Thank you to John M Schmid for sharing your talent, and to Paul’s family for making this day so special. Moments like these are exactly what our program is all about, creating meaningful experiences that celebrate the stories and dreams of our residents.

Lois enjoyed her Dream On experience with her daughters at Wooster Floral, where they spent the morning surrounded by color and creativity, building their own beautiful bouquets together. The shop was filled with laughter and the sweet scent of fresh blooms as Lois carefully selected her flowers in soft, lovely shades of pink.

Lois has always had a green thumb and a true love for nature. Over the years, she filled her home and garden with life, from cheerful daffodils that welcomed spring to the 15 African violets she tended with care and pride.

To make the day even sweeter, Lois and her daughters wrapped up their adventure with a stop at Hartzler’s Ice Cream Shoppe, where they enjoyed a scoop (or two!) of homemade ice cream and shared stories from days gone by.

A huge thank-you to Wooster Floral for helping make this experience so special for Lois. It was a heartwarming day filled with flowers, family, and sweet memories — a beautiful reminder that some dreams truly do bloom.
