Help Me Grow of Wayne/Ashland - Wayne County Board of DD Help Me Grow is a program consisting of Early Intervention and Home Visitation offered by the Wayne County Board of DD. Goals of the program include:
1.

Early Intervention Program Services follow a coaching model and may include Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services, which can address the following areas of development. Language and Communication development;
Self-Help Skills and Adaptive development training;
Physical (fine and gross motor) development;
Social and Emotional development;
Cognitive development;
Sensory development;
Family support; and
Health services

Home Visiting

Home visiting is an evidence-based parent support program for pregnant moms and new parents. Families and home visitors use a research-based program to help parents and children reach their goals. In addition to education, the program provides tangible resources for families in need. Improve maternal and child health;
2. Prevent child abuse and neglect;
3. Encourage positive parenting;
4. Promote child development and school readiness

This is a very big Pantry week at the Wooster Hope Center. We are expecting to serve up to a 1,000 families this week. Please be patient with our volunteers as we try to keep up with the demand. Remember to enter the parking lot, you must be heading south on Spruce St. The parking lot will not be open to those headed North. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I pray you have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

The pop up food pantry will be at the Wayne County Health Department on Tuesday December 9 from 11-1.
