With funding through the , United Way Wayne and Holmes Counties, and Wayne County Community Foundation, and OneOhio Recovery Foundation ACP is able to provide our swift access team that connects youth and families in need with ongoing care within 3 days and often the same day that they call. Supporting the MHRB, UWWH and WCCF supports getting Holmes and Wayne Country residents support swiftly.

About a third of the services Anazao provides are supported by funding through the . All our "staff", (even the furry ones!) are with the MHRB and other partners in the local system of care to ensure the most vulnerable in our community have needed support.

Strengthening the Safety Net for Our Students 🛡️🏫

Wednesday, Anazao Community Partners is launching a new communication system to support Wayne and Holmes County schools.

Our team is currently delivering support totes to every school building in the region. While these totes contain physical resources for critical incident response, the underlying network does more: it creates a direct link between those that respond to an incident, those that witness child trauma and school leaders. This ensures that when a student experiences a traumatic event, their school is notified and ready to provide "Grace and Space" before the next bell rings.

This CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) infrastructure is made possible through the support and funding of the and . Their commitment to student wellness is foundational to this vital collaboration.

That’s something Joe Messner has learned in his 31 years at Anazao. As a mental health and substance use counselor, Joe works with people from 7 to 91 years old. No matter their age or background, one thing stays the same: everyone is carrying something. Joe believes therapy isn’t about fixing broken people. It’s about honest conversations that help you chart a new course.
