On Saturday, we had the joy of partnering with Mapleton High School for their 8 team wheelchair basketball tournament! A mix of 40 staff and students jumped into chairs for the first time and had fun competition for the top spot.🏀

The school also collected donations and raised funds to support our organization. Thank you, Mapleton, for an incredible day and for your amazing support!

🏒Wildcat Winter Slam! 🏒

What a weekend at our annual Wildcat Winter Slam Sed Hockey Tournament! We welcomed 9 teams across both junior and adult divisions from Pittsburgh, New York, Michigan, and Indiana for a few competitive days on the ice. Our Walleye, Boom, and Wildcats teams all competed hard and showed teamwork throughout the weekend.

🏆Congratulations to the Rangers for taking home the Junior Division Championship, defeating the Mighty Penguins in an exciting shootout!

Thanks to all the teams, families, and fans who made this weekend a success, we’ll see you back on the ice next year!

So proud of Isaiah and our Wildcats!

Way to go, Isaiah! 🏅 Isaiah Cain, a 7th grader at Welty, competes for the Wildcats on a sled hockey team through the Adaptive Sports of Ohio organization. He’s been playing since he was eight years old and recently earned a gold medal after competing in Pittsburgh—beating teams from Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Canada!

He’s pictured here proudly displaying his medals from over the years. 👏
