Breakfast...it truly IS the most important meal of the day.

And sadly, so many of us skip it in favor of hitting the snooze button.😏😏😏

Breakfast Smoothies are one of the simplest ways to get your morning nutrients and they’re so quick and easy!

Here’s a little Smoothie Making 101:

Start with a liquid of your choice (non-dairy milk, water or coconut water work well)

💪Add Protein Powder of your choice (plant-based, whey protein or casein)

🌿Add veggies (leafy greens like spinach or kale blend nicely and up your nutrient intake)

🍓Add some frozen fruit like blueberries, strawberries, mango or banana for some extra flavor

Toss in some healthy fats to keep you satisfied (avocado, nut butter, walnuts, cashews, chia seeds & flaxseed are delicious options.)

Whizz these up in the blender until smooth and you’ve got yourself a portable, nutritious breakfast made in minutes!

The physical body can only adapt to insults for so long. When it can no longer adapt, weakness and degeneration set in. Medical intervention may be necessary when the body is in crisis, but the key to long term health will never be found in a magical, pharmaceutical bullet. Unless we change our lifestyle, there will be no change in the alarming disease statistics in our nation. Chronic illness will rule until we support the body's natural ability to heal itself. Degenerative diseases and infectious diseases will continue to rise in the absence of a strong immune system. A balanced body chemistry will produce health, and not chronic disease. We must focus our attention on prevention, rather than costly treatments and cures. Take charge of your health and live.
