Mask Usage Update
Just a quick update as this is starting to be questioned. We are continuing to wear our masks at Align & Flourish as some of us have immediate family members who cannot be vaccinated. We also have clientele who are health compromised and cannot receive the vaccine. In order to keep our space as safe as possible, we are asking our clients to continue to mask. If you wish to remove your mask during treatment, you will need to show us proof of vaccination. If you do not wish to share that information with us, that is absolutely your right, but then you will need to wear your mask. If you are not willing to wear your mask nor share vaccination status, we will not consent to treat you at this time.

Jodi is a 2012 graduate of Central Mass School of Massage & Therapy, and the former owner of BodyWild Massage in Worcester. Margo & Melanie would like to take a moment to thank you all for your support in keeping our space safe. With the vaccination rollout revving up, and the continued use of masks & safe practices, we hope to be on the other side of this pandemic soon. As a reminder, unless you are fully vaccinated for 14 days after your second dose, if you are traveling outside MA, you must self quarantine or have a negative COVID-19 test before coming to see us.

And now, some EXCITING NEWS....ITS OFFICIAL!! Align & Flourish is now a two room operation! Melanie acquired the space next to Margo in February and is now open & serving clients there. This means more availability for you! Just look for the signs... 109 Align (on the left) is Margo, and 109F Flourish is Melanie (on the right).

We are pleased to announce 2 new services at A&F... Melanie's Thai Stretch & Massage Combo and Amethyst BioMat Far Infrared Heat Therapy! Both can be booked immediately, and for a limited time, Melanie is offering a FREE 10 min intro to Thai Stretching or The Amethyst BioMat!!. Either can be booked as an add-on to any bodywork appointment.

Just a quick update. Governor Baker has announced that massage services will start in Phase 2, but not at the beginning of Phase 2 of the reopening. If things follow how Phase 1 was rolled out, this will likely mean we can resume services 1 week after the start of Phase 2. We do not know this for sure. We are awaiting the press conference on Saturday where this is theoretically going to be outlined in more detail. Fingers crossed and stay safe!

We will be in Phase 2 of the reopening, which is tentatively mid-June. We have opened up our schedules for June 15th, available online for booking. This will be on a 4/10 schedule, based on a model they are using in Israel.

People can work in two-week cycles, on the job for four days then, by the time they might become infectious, 10 days at home in lockdown.

I have made the decision to close the practice for the next 2 weeks, and will reassess whether to remain closed as the situation develops. I have decided it is too high of a risk. It is not possible to do safe social distancing in this line of work. I would much rather err on the side of caution, than make an error in judgement the other direction.
