Here are 4 med-spa treatments perfect to do now as we transition into fall, along with the science behind why they’re well-suited ⬇️

1. Microneedling - Best performed when sun exposure is lower, so risk of hyperpigmentation or irritation is reduced. Recent studies show its efficacy and safety, improved patient satisfaction when aftercare is good.

2. Chemical Peels - Autumn is known as peel season for a reason. Humidity starts decreasing → skin is less oily and peeling effects tend to go more smoothly. Lower UV exposure as well!

3. CO2 Laser - The cooler weather + less intense sun reduces risk of post-treatment pigmentation and slows sun-burn risk during healing. Studies (e.g. StatPearls, JAAD) show CO₂ resurfacing is effective for photodamage and wrinkles, with acceptable downtime when done appropriately.
