Mr. Blomstrom resided in California for many years working in the financial services industry and then eventually moved back home to the Worcester area where he went to work for LabCorp. He was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed the time he was able to spend on the golf course.

Due to the inclement weather trash and recycling pickup has been delayed by two days. Please see an updated schedule of trash and recycling pickup for the week of Feb. 23.

Crews spent last night clearing main lines and side streets. Today, all available equipment continues to treat roads with a focus on further cleaning up side streets as well as preparing for any additional snow on Wednesday. Focus will shift to snow removal following Wednesday's storm.

A continuous learner and avid reader, Vilia enjoyed British and American history. She had a quick wit, excellent memory, and a good sense of humor. Most of all, she was a kind and generous friend, a loyal daughter who looked after her aging parents, a protective big sister, and she cared deeply for her pets.

Mike was a gentle giant with a big heart. He enjoyed singing to his favorite rock bands, like ”Guns and Roses” and “Alice in Chains”. Michael enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and the Boston Bruins. He had quite the sense of humor making all of us laugh.
