If Red dye #40 kills a plant, what do you think it’s doing to our cells?

Below is a picture of a simple experiment of how different food coloring changes the color of the celery plant.

Well, take notice of the red dye #40...it KILLED the celery plant in just a day!

Red dye #40 is in a lot of candy and processed foods, Gatorade, etc.

Red dye 40 is a synthetic food dye made from petroleum. Research has shown that it is linked to certain ADHD symptoms, such as hyperactivity, and may also cause other neurobehavioral effects in children. People can check for red dye 40 on food labels if they wish to limit their intake.

Just removing foods with artificial colorings/dyes could substantially change your child’s behavior, mood, hyperactivity, etc.

Real Food Alert‼️

When it comes to healthy eating...Pizza is my weakness! But why does it have to be a bad choice? 🍕

Forget the greasy pizza store pizza.. I got an Ooni pizza oven & now I can make homemade healthy pizza from scratch. So delicious & cooks in minutes. 🕐

Recipe:

To make your own pizza dough: I use 5 cups of flour (all purpose, 00, or whole wheat), 1 1/2 tsp dry yeast, 1 1/2 tsp salt, & 2 1/4 cups cold water.
Wisk dry ingredients then put in mixer with dough hook & add cold water. Allow to mix for about 8 minutes or so until it forms a ball- should be sticky but not stick to the bowl. If too stick add a little more flour! Can form dough ball by hand if you don't have a mixer. Makes 6 12" pizza doughs!! Cover on a baking sheet & allow to sit & rise for 2 hours. Roll out & bake into pies, refrigerate for 2 days max, or freeze for later.

Real Life Post...

After having my first baby a year ago at the age of 40... even with the healthy life style I live, I felt stuck in my weight loss goals...I needed a change! My new hobby- kickboxing! I love it ..it's something I get to do for me & I'm down 6lbs after 3 weeks! Don't forget to switch things up its part of the journey.

Yogurt Fruit Bars

I love having a frozen treat in the summer & don't get me wrong...I love going out for ice cream, but I don't always need all the extra fat, calories, or Sugar! Try these instead...I use this recipe for a smoothie but they make great frozen yogurt bars too:

Vanilla Berry Bars:
1 Cup 0% fat Greek Yogurt
1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk (vanilla or plain)
1 Cup frozen Strawberries or Mixed berries
2 Scoops of my favorite Vanilla Protein Powder- Arbonne
About 10-20 Unsweetened or Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips (optional)

Chocolate Banana Bars:
Substitute the Frozen Berries for 2 & 1/2 Ripe Bananas
Substitute the Vanilla Protein Powder for Chocolate!

Blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in blender until mixed, add chocolate chips last & blend briefly just to chop up into smaller bits.
Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze & Enjoy!! Makes 8 to 9 pops!
