If you plan to travel this Holiday season, something you may question is how can I go through security with my breast prosthesis?

You can wear your breast prostheses through TSA checkpoints at airports as well as other screening situations. However, you may be subject to a more in-depth security screening. Some women opt to print out and carry a TSA notification card while traveling to show to an agent. For more information, please check the TSA website as well as the resource page for the printable version of the TSA card.

Comfy Bra or Compression Bra?

These two styles are just a sample of the variety of bras out there for women post-surgery! The relaxed fit and soft material of a comfy bra is great for post-radiation or just lounging around the house. Whereas the compression bra is ideal for women with lymphedema on the chest wall; this type of bra needs to be specifically ordered by the physician.
