Celebrating Our Team on Employee Appreciation Day – March 6
At Dodge Park and Oasis at Dodge Park, we often say that our buildings are made of walls and rooms, but our community is built by people. Every day, our nurses, aides, dining staff, activity teams, housekeeping, maintenance, administrative staff, and support personnel work together to create a warm, safe, and caring environment for the residents who call our communities home.
On March 6, National Employee Appreciation Day, we take a special moment to recognize the extraordinary dedication of our team members. Caring for older adults—especially those living with memory loss—requires patience, compassion, skill, and heart. Our staff members bring these qualities with them every single day, often going above and beyond to ensure that residents feel respected, supported, and loved.
To show our gratitude, we celebrated the day with a special appreciation meal prepared just for our staff. This gathering was a small way for us to say “thank you” to the incredible people who devote their time and energy to caring for others. Sharing a meal together allowed team members from different departments and shifts to pause for a moment, enjoy good food, and celebrate the teamwork that makes our community so special.
While one meal cannot fully express the appreciation we feel, it symbolizes something very important: our employees are the heart and soul of Dodge Park and Oasis at Dodge Park. Their kindness, professionalism, and commitment make it possible for us to provide the high level of care and compassion that families trust us with every day.
