Our Health Center got a festive makeover—transformed into a cozy Irish pub, complete with charming décor and a menu of “fancy beverages and Irish theme treats” that brought smiles all around.

Residents and staff enjoyed a wonderful morning filled with laughter, music, and a touch of Irish cheer.

It’s moments like these that make our community feel so special. 🍀

Briarwood Residents rang in the New Year in style with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration!
The evening featured a live DJ that kept the dance floor full, delicious appetizers that were a hit, and a festive champagne toast to welcome the year ahead. Laughter, music, and great company made it a night to remember, and a fantastic start to the New Year for all who attended.

The Tree of Remembrance is a cherished Briarwood tradition that brings comfort and connection during the holiday season. Residents recently gathered to honor the memory of loved ones by placing ornaments on the tree and sharing cherished memories in a setting of reflection and care.

This year’s service was especially moving, featuring a beautiful musical performance by JOMP student Sofía Hernández-Williams, who performed a movement by solo Bach, creating a touching and contemplative backdrop for the ceremony. The program also included a heartfelt poem reading and the singing of Silent Night, moments that resonated deeply with all in attendance.

Following the service, residents and staff came together to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, sharing conversation, warmth, and the spirit of community that defines Briarwood.

Holiday cheer is in full swing at The Elms! We are grateful to our families and staff for making our annual open house such a wonderful success. Thank you for celebrating the season with us!

A magical evening at Elms Assisted Living!

Our residents were were filled with joy as the big man himself, Santa Claus, stopped by to help us celebrate our official tree lighting!

The room sparkled with holiday cheer, laughter, and plenty of smiles as the residents gathered together to sing carols.

Everyone enjoyed delicious, hot cocoa, and cookies, making the night feel extra cozy and festive. 
Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special.

The holiday season is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited!

🎃 Spooky Fun Across Our Community! 👻
We love our continuing care retirement community! Elms Assisted Living Residents stopped by our Nursing Center for some sweet trick-or-treating fun 🍬.
Over at Knollwood, our amazing staff went all out with a friendly decorating competition, transforming their workspaces into incredible themed displays! From spooky sights to sweet treats, residents, team members, and visitors all had a blast celebrating together. 🧡

We’re so proud of the creativity, connection, and community spirit that makes The Briarwood Coninuing Care Retirment Community such special place to call home.

Briarwood’s 2nd Annual Apple Pie Contest was a sweet success!
Nearly 60 residents and staff members joined in the fun, tasting and voting for their favorite homemade pie. Thank you to everyone who baked, sampled, and celebrated the season with us—what a great way to enjoy fall!

Team Briarwood was proud to participate in the Worcester County Walk to End Alzheimer’s today. $8,700 raised so far and donations continue to come in!

Thanks to all who helped make Briarwood’s 16th Annual Golf Outing a success! We appreciate all who sponsored the event, golfed in the rain, participated in the raffles and auction, and in so many other ways donated to the renovation of Briarwood’s Assisted Living kitchen and dining venue. We had a fun and memorable time at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club. See you next September!
