We are once again moving forward with our Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. As part of our ongoing efforts to raise funds for our resident of the Odd Fellows Home, we are seeking your help in the form of business, corporate and individual sponsorships, raffle prize donations, gift certificates, and most of all, golfer participation. All levels of support are welcome and appreciated.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Odd Fellows Home, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 10th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Green Hill Municipal Golf Course, 1929 Officer Manny Familia Way, Worcester, MA on Monday, September 9, 2024. We hope that you will consider supporting us for this special event for a worthy cause. Sponsorship packages are described in the enclosed brochure.

This tournament is open to all golfers. Those who sign up as a single or in pairs will be assigned to complete a foursome. All registered players who participate in the Hole in One raffle will automatically be entered into a contest for a chance to win $10,000.00. We will be raffling off a Smart TV, raffle items, prizes for the longest drive, closest to hole, as well as a 50/50 raffle, mulligans and 1st & 2nd place winners. Non golfers may join us for the buffet following the tournament at $50.00 per guest.

The Odd Fellows Home offers superior skilled nursing and rehabilitation care for adults from Central Massachusetts. We offer short term rehabilitation services as well as long term care. Our staff is prepared to support our residents during challenging periods of their life. One hundred per cent of your tax-deductible donation will be used towards enhancing the daily lives of our residents.

Admission/ Marketing Director Erica Wennerberg along with Karen Halloran demonstrated and painted silk scarfs today at the Worcester Senior Center. There was a room full of eager participants ready to go! As you can see there was so much talent in the room. Such a fun event! Odd Fellows Home cannot wait to do it again. As Scarlett Thomas said “People make events into stories. Stories give events meaning.” Today Erica heard many great stories from the group and the many loved ones that were once residents here, nothing but good words and thanks were spoken. Thank you to all who participated today.

Our residents were ready to immerse themselves in the toe-tapping world of H***y Tonk piano music provided by Gary Landren. They danced and sang many soulful melodies with infectious rhythms that captivated their minds. Such a fun afternoon of dancing and singing.

As Thomas Merton states “Art enables us to find ourselves, and lose ourselves at the same time”. Each week Odd Fellows Home Life Enrichment Team along with Julie conduct an Art Studio for our residents. As you can see we have quite a few artists. This is an amazing hour of fun not only to relax, but to mingle with others that enjoy art. Sometimes you just need to relax, breathe, and let it all go and live in that moment.
