Akwaaba means "Welcome" in Twi and at Akwaaba Free Clinic everyone is always welcome! Each week, our dedicated physicians, medical professionals, and students provide amazing care for anyone who walks in the door, at absolutely NO cost. We believe in addressing the socioeconomic and cultural factors the play major roles as determinants of the health of people in Worcester and beyond. Since founding in 2008, Akwaaba has increased access to health care and improved health outcomes for various vulnerable populations in the city of Worcester. Feel free to SUPPORT and BE A PART of this health initiative as we continue to provide health care to the community.
