Nothing beats the heat like a Kona treat!

Saint Francis Rehab and Saint Francis Adult Day Health had a fantastic time at the Grafton Senior Center BBQ! We were thrilled to spend the afternoon with so many wonderful seniors and surprise them with the Kona Ice Truck—just in time for the summer heatwave. Great company, cool treats, and lots of smiles made it a day to remember!

A Century of Service & Celebration at Saint Francis Rehab!

We were honored to celebrate Harrison’s 100th birthday—a proud Army Veteran and beloved member of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Allyson from Beacon Hospice for coordinating a special Veterans pinning ceremony, presenting a certificate of appreciation and a beautiful handmade quilt.

Thank you to Mayor Joseph Petty for presenting Harrison with a Key to the City, and to Dr. Joe Robinson, Director of Veterans Services for the City of Worcester, for joining us in honoring his service.

Residents, staff, family, and friends all came together to make this day unforgettable. Happy 100th, Harrison—thank you for your service and for inspiring us all!

Summer Bash at Saint Francis Adult Day Health!

We turned up the heat with DJ Edwin keeping the vibes alive, “Shark Attack Mocktails” to cool us down, freeze pops, and even beach volleyball in the courtyard!

Our participants had a blast visiting the outfit station to get party-ready in true summer style. So many laughs, smiles, and memories made—it’s what summer is all about!

Saint Francis Adult Day Health had an amazing time at the Summer Concert on the Plaza outside the Hanover Theater!

We had the pleasure of watching Nova Brazil, a talented group that blends pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, and world music, with a beautiful focus on Afro-Brazilian heritage. The highlight? Our participants got to join in on the fun and play the drums alongside the performers!

Last Friday at Saint Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Adult Day Health, we proudly hosted a special Vet to Vet Café honoring the experiences and service of our Veterans.

We were joined by guest speaker Dr. Joe F. Robinson, USMC Retired and Director of Veteran Services for the City of Worcester, who shared heartfelt stories—from his time in bootcamp to his current work supporting homeless Veterans in our community.

Our participants deeply connected with his message and appreciated the chance to share their own stories. It was a powerful, meaningful afternoon of camaraderie and reflection.

Prom Under the Stars at Saint Francis Adult Day Health!

What a magical day we had celebrating our Under the Stars prom! Huge thanks to Miranda and her daughters for helping our participants feel fabulous with hair and glam.

DJ Edwin brought the energy and kept the dance floor buzzing as we danced the “night” away! A delicious lunch was served before our heartfelt award ceremony—crowning our Prom King & Queen, Best Dressed, Princesses & Princes, and even special titles like “Birthday Queen” and “Best Dancer!”

So many smiles, laughs, and unforgettable memories shared with our incredible ADH family!

Saint Francis Adult Day Health took a special field trip to Mechanics Hall to enjoy a powerful performance by the United States Army Field Band and Chorus! It was an especially meaningful outing as the Army just celebrated its 250th birthday, and all of our veteran participants were able to attend. It was a truly memorable day for all!

Saint Francis Rehab and Saint Francis Adult Day Health had a fantastic time at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Annual Drive-Thru Senior Picnic this Saturday!

We love showing up for our seniors—and it was heartwarming to reconnect with so many familiar faces: past Saint Francis families, our Better Breathers crew from local senior centers, and friends from the senior living where we host monthly Bingo.

The best part? Sharing smiles (and our extra-large cookies!) with the community we’re proud to support year after year.

A special day at Saint Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Saint Francis Adult Day Health!

We welcomed a Canadian film crew and the Little Franciscans of Mary (P.F.M.) as they captured footage for an upcoming documentary. Founded in Worcester in 1889, the Sisters established Saint Francis Home, now known as Saint Francis Rehab and Adult Day Health.

We are proud to continue the compassionate mission they began, caring for the community with the same spirit of service and dignity. It was a joy to reconnect with the Sisters and celebrate the legacy that still lives on through our daily work.
