Karina Beleno Carney is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner in Massachusetts, currently working at Body Therapeutics in Shrewsbury. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, and also studied abroad at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Teaching Hospital in

Chengdu, SiChuan, China and has been in practice for nearly 20 years. Karina specializes in working with the mind/body/spirit connection, utilizing a variety of techniques including acupuncture, cupping, TuiNa, e-stim, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and more to treat many conditions. In addition to her general practice, Karina is a board certified reproductive Acupuncturist, with a clinical focus in women’s health, infertility, pregnancy, and post-partum – menarche through menopause! Karina has extensive experience working closely with individuals and couples to navigate the tricky time of creating a family. Karina has worked as a birth doula in Boston and the Washington, DC area, and has birthed three children of her own. Karina is committed to equitable treatment for all her patients, provides culturally competent care for LGBTQIA+ and Latine patients, and is supportive of single mothers by choice.
