Reminder that in 3 weeks we are hosting our first CEU event:

Supporting Worcester’s Q***r Community

For therapists and related professionals in central Massachusetts, we are hosting an in-person CEU event to help all of us feel better connected, educated on resources, and prepared to use clear language that validates and meets the needs of q***r and trans folks living through challenging times. Worcester has designated itself as a “sanctuary city” for trans folks, but what does that mean? Is it a virtue signal? Does it carry legal protections or weight? What are the experiences of those in the city itself and how are those outside of the city protected or able to access support here?

Learn about and discuss these important issues and support community building amongst q***r identified and aligned therapists, social workers, educators, and advocates!

When: Friday 8/8 at 1:30 PM
Cost: $105*, including CEU certificates (NBCC & AASECT)
Reduced: $55*, no CEU certificate
*Costs are collected on the day of the event

This training is designed to encourage and bolster each and every therapist to feel ethically and legally prepared to advocate for our most vulnerable populations as well as walk away with a better rolodex of supports and referral sources related to social events, support groups, agencies and practices that are safe for your trans, non-binary, gender-fluid or expansive clients who are uncertain of where to go for safe connection and community.

‼️ WE ARE ALSO TAKING NEW CLIENTS ‼️

We address most mental health concerns including specialized topics such as: s3xual dysfunction, s3xual orientation/identity, seeking g3nder-affirming medical care, navigating one’s own g3nder identity and uncertainty, exploring non-monogamy, addressing infidelity, and maintaining familial ties and relationships throughout life transitions and changes.🌀

We seek to provide equitably accessible services to our community through contracting with insurances (BCBS, Aetna, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Cigna, Carlin, Wellsense, Wellpoint, Mass General Brigham, just to name a few) and ensuring effective person-centered care. 💝

Services include individual, couples, and family therapy with in-person and virtual options. S3x therapy with an AASECT certified s3x therapist has a short wait list. We also provide bi-weekly support groups for Parents of tran$ folks, members of the polyamory/ENM community, and will be starting up a men’s mental health support group soon! 🧠

We are seeking value aligned, outpatient therapists who may elect to be virtual only, in person only, or hybrid. Support is given along your journey by our Director and AASECT certified s3x therapist, Jeremy, in bolstering skills related to providing gender-affirming therapy as well as counseling related to s3xual health and function.
