Worcester State University School Psychology

Worcester State University School Psychology The Education Department at Worcester State University offers graduate students the opportunity to receive an Ed.S degree in school psychology.

The School Psychology graduate program offered at Worcester State University is a Specialist level program that awards students with an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree upon completion of three year full-time study. Our program here at WSU is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), which offers review and approval services for graduate programs to ensure student readiness to practice in the field upon graduation. An advantage of this review and approval process is that it ensures graduate programs, as part of their course of study, mandate completion of requirements that students will need in order to apply for national certification. During the course of the program, students need to complete a total of 72 credits, supervised full-time practicum (600+hours), and supervised full-time internship (total 1200+hours). In addition, students need to complete a professional portfolio and demonstrate competency on a comprehensive examination.
