When it comes to dental insurance it can be tricky understanding what sort of coverage you may have. It's always important to ask your insurance provider questions. We try to be as transparent with our patients to help them understand their needs and feel secure in their treatment.

Important Questions to Ask:
1. Are there Waiting Periods for treatment?
2. Do they downgrade treatment rendered affecting your co-pay?
3. Do they have missing tooth clauses causing your bridge or partial not to be covered?
4. Does the policy have a deductible, what’s your maximum?
5. Do they have age limitations on fluoride or braces?
6. What is the coverage for Preventative, Basic, and Major services?

All these questions are to help you have a better understanding about your coverage and how they can affect your out of pocket costs. Never be afraid to ask about your estimated copay, or how your insurance policy works. Easing your stress helps us provide the most exceptional care.

Looking to Hire a Part-Time Dental Hygienist!

Hours are Thursday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $35-$45 hourly, based on experience. We’re looking for a reliable part-time hygienist. Currently looking for an immediate hire. This position may offer additional per diem days.

Responsibilities:
*Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
*Sterilize dental instruments properly
*Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
*Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
*Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
*Take X-rays
*Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
*Monitor supplies

Requirements:
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
*Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
*Diploma in Dental Hygiene
*Valid PA license to practice

Preferred:
*Outstanding communication skills
*A patient and friendly personality
*Attention to detail
*Experience with Dentrix
