Come on down! 🎉

Today, Robin and Jodie from Assisting Hands - Serving Columbus and Surrounding Areas brought plenty of laughs and friendly competition to our community with a fun “The Price is Right: 1975 Edition” activity! Residents tested their skills by guessing whether classic items were higher or lower in price and even won some great prizes along the way.

We officially kicked off our 2026 season with a fun trip to Oakland Nursery, where residents selected a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables to help spruce up our community just in time for summer. 🌿☀️

In honor of Mother’s Day, our very own Amy — who is also a MARY KAY consultant — hosted a special Bloom and Glow activity for our residents.

From a full face cleanse to face and hand exfoliations, and finishing with tips on applying light foundation with a fresh blush/lip color, it was a relaxing and fun experience for everyone involved.

We had a great time today learning the art of the perfect snack! A huge thank you to Elaine from BrightStar Care Columbus NW / E for visiting our community and teaching us how to craft our very own personal charcuterie cups.

It was so much fun experimenting with a mix of both savory and sweet ingredients to find the perfect balance. Elaine even showed us some impressive pro tips, like how to fold and layer salami to create a beautiful salami rose! 🌹✨

By the end of the activity, everyone had a delicious "cup of goodies" that looked just as amazing as it tasted. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon—learning a new skill and enjoying some treats with friends.

We were honored to welcome the Worthington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to The Bristol as they spent time with our veterans in recognition of Memorial Day.

Their thoughtful visit included the presentation of 250th Birthday U.S. commemorative coins and American flags—small but meaningful tokens of gratitude for the service and sacrifice of our residents.

We are especially proud to be home to three World War II veterans—Harold, Bill, and Marie—whose stories and service continue to inspire us every day.

Thank you to DAR for helping us celebrate and honor those who have given so much. 🇺🇸
