✨ Our community sparkled with joy as we celebrated Chinese New Year last night! 🍜 Residents enjoyed delicious sesame chicken & fried rice, then made wishes while releasing beautiful sky lanterns. Here’s to new beginnings & shared moments! 🔥🐴

Mardi Gras came alive in our community this week — and what a celebration it was! Residents kicked off the day at our pop-up Café Du Monde, enjoying chicory coffee and delicious King Cake fresh from Resch's Bakery 🍰☕. The sounds of Louisiana set the mood, and our hallways turned into a festive parade route during the Bristol Brigade Mardi Gras Parade at Happy Hour 💜💚💛.

The fun didn’t stop there! For dinner we handed out colorful beads and masks, enjoying good food and great company as we celebrated with laughter and spirit.

In our community, life is all about connecting, creating memories, and celebrating together. That’s at the heart of who we are — because we treat residents and families the way we’d treat our own loved ones, with compassion, respect, and genuine care every day.

💋 Valentine’s Day was extra special with Amy, our fabulous team member and MARY KAY consultant! She hosted a fun Pucker Profile activity where residents tried on vibrant lip colors and left their unique kiss prints on sticky notes. 💄❤️ Using a kiss personality chart, Amy matched each print to delightful personality traits. It was such a creative way to celebrate love and connection within our community. What a sweet way to spread joy!

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at The Bristol with a day full of love, laughter, and thoughtful touches.

Residents enjoyed browsing our Valentine card table, picking out special cards for the people who mean the most to them. With the help of our CRD—dressed as an adorable Cupid bear—we passed out Blow-Pop Valentines, which were a big hit!

The evening continued with a delicious dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, enjoyed while listening to beautiful live music from our guest violinist. Chef Bob truly outdid himself with decadent lava cakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries for dessert.

It was a wonderful day celebrating friendship, community, and love. Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at The Bristol! ❤️

Another wonderful day at The Bristol!

Today, we filled the bus for our weekly lunch outing and headed to Shawnee Station Tap Room Kitchen for great food and even better company. There’s nothing like sharing a meal together and connecting with friends.

To add a little extra fun to the day, we celebrated with a sweet surprise! Residents enjoyed peppermint patties as a refreshing treat and a small change of pace from our usual routine.

At The Bristol, it’s the little moments that make life here so special.

Our last two dinner outings have been a culinary adventure! First, we dined at The Refectory Restaurant and Wine Shop — one of Columbus' finest restaurants! 🍽️ The atmosphere? Magical. The food? Exquisite (who knew Ostrich could taste so good!). But the best part was our fantastic company!

Then we headed to Hunan Lion, back and better than ever!🥢 It’s a joy to see this legendary spot thriving again. Every bite at this beloved Asian restaurant brought smiles.

Today at The Bristol, we put on our red for Wear Red Day for cardiovascular health while also celebrating the opening of the Winter Olympics. Early in the day, our Feel Good Music program focused on Italy since Milan is hosting the 2026 Winter Olympic games, followed by broadcasting the Opening Ceremony on all of our community TVs. We then hosted a table top curling competition and played Olympics Jeopardy in the Activities Room. Happy Hour kept the Olympic theme alive with Olympic trivia, crossword puzzles and word search activities on each table for the residents to enjoy with their beverage of choice. Go Team USA!

🐿️ Groundhog Day was a blast! 🎉 We kicked off the festivities this past Monday with an exciting scavenger hunt, awarding groundhog-themed prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! 🥇🥈🥉 Plus, we enjoyed a classic Monday matinee screening of “Groundhog Day” 🍿 and had live updates from Chunk the groundhog on our Activities Room TV! 📺

We welcomed Parker the therapy dog to our community, along with her handler, Susan. Parker is a special breed of doodle, specific for service activities! As with all therapy animals, she brought many smiles to our residents' faces. 🐶😀

Yesterday was a wild day in our community! 🦊🐾 We were thrilled to welcome Carrie from Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks for her fascinating "Animals in Winter" presentation. She shared amazing facts about Ohio wildlife and allowed residents to up close and personal with beaver, red fox, mink, and deer pelts.

We love nurturing curiosity and promoting lifelong learning here—thank you, Carrie for visiting!

In honor of MLK Day, we spread some love and creativity by crafting beautiful Peace Doves on canvas! ✨ Using buttons and embellishments, we brought our visions of peace to life.
