Wanted to thank our sponsors for our teen bible study and let you know that we have 12 girls that signed up and have been coming (a little hit and miss with camp and family vacations). All of the girls received their own copy of the bible study book and some great goodies along the way. This is the first time HHPC has held a bible study, I'd say it's been a blessing for all. New friends are being made, stories are being shared, trust is being built, and best of all = Jesus is in the hearts of these beautiful young ladies. A few of the girls have even asked if they can volunteer here (melted my heart). Thanks for sharing your teens with us and thanks to Faith for leading the study.
The Center will be closing early today, closed tomorrow, and Monday - back open on Tuesday, 7/22.
Needs at this time: Prayers for our clients and families, and prayers for the Patient Advocate Care Position/Volunteers, diapers (newborn, size 1,2,3), and short sleeved maternity tops.
We are always accepting: Prayers, new/gently used baby clothes (up to size 2T), maternity clothes, diaper bags, diapers (even if the package is open), baby wipes, unopened formula, strollers, baby carriers, self care items for mom, volunteers.
We are so very thankful for ALL that we receive, every day, there is a smiling face that comes in to give (in one way or another). God Bless.

If you haven’t listened to The "Amazing" Worthington City Band on Wednesday nights at Chautauqua Park, there’s still a few chances left. You won’t regret it, amazing performance last night!

We have some great news. We are looking for Client Advocates, both paid and volunteer positions. What does a Client Advocate do? This special person provides spiritual, emotional, educational, and practical assistance to families. There’s great flexibility with these positions and different opportunities (teens, moms, dads, groups, school, 1:1). We believe in the sanctity of life, are compassionate and non-judgmental. We received a phone call from Cornerstone URC in Sanborn, IA, asking if Cornerstone United Reformed Church - Hudsonville, MI could come do mission work. These ladies have been working all over and are at Helping Hand Pregnancy Center today. Please pray for their group, safe travels, and praise their hearts. 🙌

Helping Hand Pregnancy Center is beyond honored that Phil and his family, Smith Trucking Inc., chose to have memorial donations sent to the Center. I am humbled as I open the mail and reminded how beautiful people are. Being new to HHPC, I am still learning about the Center, the donors, operations, public speaking (some will smile at this), MN laws, how strong faith can be, how strong the devil can be. One thing is for sure, Mr. Smith is how we ALL should be. A man of God, faith, family, heart, grace, giving, kindness. God bless him and his family. Thank you isn’t enough to say from HHPC and the people we serve.
