We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our very own Dee Ella, a founding volunteer for the Hospital Auxiliary over 50 years ago! She remained active through all 50 years, up until her final meeting with us on April 10th! We are all so grateful for her leadership and dedication to the hospital - and for the wisdom and joy she brought with her each time she volunteered! May she rest eternally in the arms of Jesus and continue to bestow blessings on our Sanford Worthington hospital staff, patients, visitors and volunteers. ✝️💕 She will be so missed!

The Sanford Worthington Auxiliary has a new look and new name going into 2025!

The former "Auxiliary" will now be known as: SANFORD WORTHINGTON VOLUNTEER SERVICES!

We’ve added some new services and have a robust group of about 50 volunteers planning to be active throughout the hospital and clinic in 2025! Here are some of the committees and areas they will be servicing with their time:

• Assemblers
• Knitting Baby Caps
• Bag Folders
• Cafeteria – Breakfast Support
• Cancer Center & Lobby Guides
• Decorating
• Fundraising
• Magazine Circulation
• Physical Therapy/Rehab support
• Radiology/Lab Waiting Room Attendants
• Sanford “Swag” Store
• Scholarship Committee

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN ----Yes he will be in town tomorrow, Sat., Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Stag Clothiers during our Worthington Wonderland event. Be sure to check out the fun happening all around town at participating businesses.
