Our hospital volunteers gathered for a fun afternoon crafting beautiful tie blankets from donated fleece fabric, which will be distributed to patients in need of comfort throughout the hospital!

🍂🍁As Thanksgiving draws near, we are especially grateful for our 60+ volunteers at Sanford Worthington Medical Center 🏥! Each day, these generous individuals give their time, energy, and compassion to support our staff, patients, and visitors.

Today, we are proud to shine a spotlight ✨on LaVerna Feltman, a dedicated volunteer who plays an important role in our Physical Therapy & Rehab facility.

Every Monday, LaVerna arrives ready to help—putting away linens, wiping down equipment, and assisting staff with whatever is needed. She greets each patient with warmth and kindness, offering encouragement that means so much to those in our care. Her positivity is truly contagious! 🤗

Please join us in celebrating LaVerna’s commitment to serving her community! She is a gem, and we are incredibly grateful for her.

Meet Colleen!

As a dedicated lobby guide at Sanford Worthington Hospital, Colleen greets everyone with warmth and kindness and helps them navigate their way throughout the hospital facility. She eases anxious feelings, listens with compassion, and bridges language barriers - all with her welcoming smile.

We are so grateful for her commitment and the comfort she brings to our parents and families.

This past month, we said goodbye to two of our beloved hospital volunteers, Bernice Camery and Jeanne Goettsch. 🌾💕

Both women gave so much of themselves to our hospital and our patients, sharing kindness, encouragement, and the gift of their time. Their lives were a testament to service and compassion, and they touched countless hearts along the way.

While we grieve their loss, we take comfort in knowing they have been warmly welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Their legacy of love and service will live on in all those they impacted!🕊️
