✨ Join The Center for New Life at the Gift of Light Expo! ✨

I’m excited to share that The Center for New Life will be at the Gift of Light Expo in Columbus, Ohio on March 8-9, 2025! This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the transformative work happening at the Center, connect with a vibrant spiritual community, and explore a variety of holistic offerings.

As part of this event, Sunflower SOL Portal will be making its debut! I’ll be offering mini Reiki sessions throughout the expo—an excellent way to experience the calming, restorative benefits of Reiki in a short, focused session.

Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: "Rei," meaning "universal," and "Ki," meaning "life energy." It is a holistic, light-touch therapy that aims to balance and harmonize the body, mind, and spirit by transferring and channeling universal life energy through the hands of a trained Reiki practitioner.

Reiki is based on the idea that there is a universal life force that flows through all living things, and that by accessing and channeling this energy, one can promote healing, relaxation, and well-being. During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands on or above specific positions on the body, using a series of hand positions to channel and transmit the energy.

Reiki is often used to:

- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Promote relaxation and calmness
- Relieve pain and inflammation
- Improve sleep quality
- Support the body's natural healing processes
- Enhance overall well-being and spiritual connection

There are different levels of Reiki training, from beginner to master level, and it is often used in conjunction with other therapies, such as massage, acupuncture, and meditation.
