Rotary Club of Jefferson County enjoyed having Robert Yonchak from Jefferson County Government. He oversees the Ogeechee Crossing Park and Disc Golf course. These two amenities are the best kept secrets in the state. Disc golf course has become one of the top courses in the state and hosts several tournaments. Brings people from Canada to Virginia to Florida. The new campsite hosts about 15 RV /camper hookups , a tent site and bath house for showers. The campsite is booked just about every weekend and full sometimes during the week. Also, people can use the pavilions at each site for events. This crown jewel for our county sits near the Ogeechee River. It’s a great place to walk and enjoy nature. We’re fortunate to have this wonderful site to bring in tourists and also show people about Jefferson County.
