A big thank you for all of your prayers for my wife. After 3 1/2 months in the hospital and after several surgical procedures she is finally home recovering. Not only am I a good Chiropractor but I have become a good nurse for one important patient.

All you nurses out there, your have a very challenging job and I could never do what you do. God bless all the nurses.

Also, a reminder that my schedule will return to normal hours. The Clinic is open Monday through Saturday, with the exception that the Clinic is closed on Tuesdays.

News for the New Year, 2025!

There will be changes to the Office Schedule, both permanent and temporary changes beginning this month.

Since I'm quickly approaching 65 years old and want to continue practicing for as long as possible, I've decided to slow down a bit and close the Clinic on Tuesdays beginning on the 14th of January. Realizing our limitations stings. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There will also be a temporary change for the Wednesday Clinic hours.
Beginning on Wednesday, January 15th the morning hours will be from 9am to10:30 and the afternoon hours will be from 5pm to 7. This is a temporary change for Wednesday hours only. Normal, full day hours on Wednesday will resume in mid-June.

Please call for your appointment times.

As stated before, the Clinic will be Closed on Saturday January 18th.

FYI, the Clinic has special hours on the following days in October.

Closed on Tuesday 8th;
I'll be leaving early at 6 pm on Wednesday 9th;
Closed on Saturday 19th;
Closed on Tuesday 29th;
I'll be leaving early at 6 pm on the 31st for Halloween.

As you may have guessed, my costume is Michael Myers.
I remember seeing the original Halloween on Halloween night at the movies in 1978 with Sue, who I eventually married in 1980.
My favorite Halloween is the one made in 2007 by Rob Zombie.

The Clinic will be closed on the 10th, 14th, and the 24th.

And here it is, September, which begins my favorite time of the year. September brings beautiful days, wondrous sunsets, and cool nights which make for good sleeping. I try to keep the window a little bit open until December 31st.

It's also a time of anticipation for the "kid" in each of us. Halloween is coming, giving us the opportunity to meet our neighbors, those people who should be important to us.

Then Thanksgiving, which in our family is always recognizing all the blessings that God has granted us, a whole day of good food, a loving family, and the Lion's game.

Of course, Christmas is the big holiday in our family, always filled with games, laughter and love. The entire week is restful as we anticipate entry into a new year of challenges and blessings.

I'm excited as you can tell and I know that it's just too early to talk about all this stuff. It's my favorite time of year.

Ok, here it is, Today is my birthday!

There were 2 that knew the exact day, and a few who knew it was sometime during the last week of August. It's been a pleasant month filled with many greetings, cards, and presents. Thanks.

Thanks for the birthday cake (You know who I'm referring to).
And many thanks for the balloons and treats today.

I'll be sitting by the poolside and relaxing this weekend. Maybe a little yard work too. I'm 64 years young and I plan on doing what I love for as long as I can.

Don't forget that the Office is closed on Tuesday 27th.

Now that we're half way through my birthday month I have some delightful news to report.
1 At first I was unsure of all the projects I was going to accomplish for a fun month. Then I realized that it shouldn't be work but good for me in some way. Doing those things I just don't have time to do but would like to do.
2 So the first week I ate desserts after meals; an Ice cream bar, Raisinetes, a big cinnamon bun for breakfast (yes, and I ate it all)
3 I went to the MJR to see a movie
4 I leisurely work around my yard and garden and did not hurry nor was concerned about all the other things scheduled to be done later that day.
5 On Tuesday 13th I didn't get out of bed until about 10 am and stayed in my pajamas until about 2:30. When I ate breakfast on that morning I found myself starring out onto my back yard. I think that's a sign of being in a good place.

It's been a good birthday celebration so far, I'm looking forward to the next 2 weeks.

Does anyone out there actually know which day is my birthday?

Oh yes!!! Well it's that time of year again. A friendly reminder, especially for those who should know and may have forgotten, this is my birthday month. Thank you very much.

As in the past I will consider all of your suggestions regarding my birthday.
For my birthday I'm thinking of a 24 hour pajama day in my new pajamas of course, a midday nap, a couple of hours of interesting reading, TV, and pizza. What do you think?
