Yesterday HCS celebrated the ribbon cutting at the Sicomac Group Home in Wyckoff, a significant milestone that marks a new chapter for Hope Christian Services and, most importantly, for the individuals and families we serve. We gathered to celebrate the power of community, collaboration, and the unwavering dedication of those who work tirelessly to support us. To witness the joy and excitement on the ladies faces as they showed off their new home was heartwarming.
The dedicated staff at Hope Christian Services is unmatched. It is their hard work, compassion, and commitment to those who call this place home that make this all possible. Each day, they go above and beyond to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are incredibly thankful for the support of the families who entrust us with the care of their loved ones. The partnerships are invaluable and we celebrate not only this new space but the strong relationships we've built together.
This new group home would not have been possible without the generous support from the Township of Wyckoff. Thank you to Mayor Boonstra, members of the Township Committee, Police and Fire Department members for your commitment to inclusion, and your support in making this project a reality. HCS has had their home base in Wyckoff since 1972 and this partnership is essential to our success.
We were honored to have Bergen County Commissioner Mary Amoroso at the Ribbon Cutting. The Commissioners ongoing dedication to HCS and our mission is deeply appreciated.
A special thank you to the Hope Christian Services Board of Directors for your unwavering commitment to our mission and your support in guiding us toward this important achievement. Your vision has truly shaped this home and the future it represents.
This group home will be more than just a building; it will be a place of opportunity, a place of community, and most importantly, a place where people can live with dignity, surrounded by the love and support they deserve. We are excited for what the future holds and are filled with gratitude as we take this important step forward together. Let’s continue to work hand-in-hand to build a more inclusive and caring community for all.
