Pranayama is often translated as “breathwork,”
but it’s more than that.

It’s the practice of working with your breath
to influence your energy and your state of mind.

The way you breathe affects everything:
your focus
your stress response
your ability to stay steady under pressure

Most people are breathing unconsciously all day long.

Pranayama brings awareness back to something that’s always been there.

And when you change your breath…
you change how you feel.

The physical practice is not the end goal.

It’s the entry point.

We move the body to feel it.
To understand it.
To build strength, yes but also awareness.

Because when the body is tight, tired, or distracted…
it’s very hard to be present.

The physical practice clears some of that.

It creates space.

So you can pay attention.
So you can breathe with intention.
So you can notice what’s actually happening within you.

This is where the practice begins.

Most people are carrying more than they realize…
stress in the body, noise in the mind, patterns that keep repeating no matter how much you “work on yourself.”

This is where breathwork becomes powerful.

Not as a concept.
But as an experience.

This 9D Breathwork session: Abundance + Self-Trust is designed to help you move through what’s been stuck without needing to analyze it, explain it, or fix it.

Through guided breath patterns and immersive sound, your body is led into a state where it can:

• release built-up emotion and tension
• quiet mental overthinking
• break through limiting patterns
• reconnect to clarity and inner direction

People often walk out of this feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded—like something finally shifted that they couldn’t access before.

And beyond the release… there’s something deeper:

A stronger sense of self-trust
A clearer connection to what you actually want
A feeling of space where there used to be pressure

You don’t have to be “good” at breathwork.
You don’t have to know what to expect.

You just have to show up… and breathe.

I want to share an update with you about this year’s Yoga Teacher Training.

I’ve decided to move the training to July through November.

New Training Dates:
July 18–19
August 15–16
September 19–20
October 17–18
November 14–15

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM each day

For those of you who are newer to the studio, or who may not know much about the training, I want to share a little context.

This is a 200-hour Yoga & Ayurveda training.

We meet one weekend per month, and between weekends there’s space for reading, small assignments, and personal practice—so you have time to actually sit with what you’re learning.

When we’re together, there’s room for conversation, questions, and working through the material in a way that makes sense.

Some people join because they want to teach.
Some join because they want to understand their practice more clearly.

Both are valid reasons to be here.

There’s no experience requirement—just a willingness to show up and stay with it.

If this has been on your mind, or if something in you feels ready for a deeper level of study, you can read more on our website. Links in bio and in our stories.

If you’d rather talk it through first, you can text CALL YTT to 469-920-3815 and we’ll set up a time to chat.

Have you noticed…

The urge to clean something out
Reorganize a space
Start a new project
Get your body moving again

That’s not random.

The Spring Equinox is when day and night are equal,
a natural point of balance before everything begins to shift.

From here, the days grow longer, energy starts to rise,
and the body follows.

In both Eastern medicine and Ayurveda, this is a season of transition. We are moving out of winter’s heaviness and into movement, clarity, and growth.

But it can also feel a little off…
like you’re ready for change, but not fully there yet.

That in-between is part of it.

We’ll be working with this together this Saturdays Spring Solstice Practice 10AM.

In early spring the environment becomes cool, damp, and heavy. These same qualities can show up in the body as sluggish digestion, low energy, congestion, or feeling a little “stuck.”

Food can help restore balance.

Some foods that naturally support this seasonal shift include:

Leafy greens
Their slightly bitter quality helps clear stagnation and support digestion.

Radishes + asparagus
Classic early spring vegetables that help the body feel lighter and support circulation.

Warming spices
Ginger, black pepper, turmeric, and cinnamon help awaken digestion after the heavier foods of winter.

In Ayurveda, spring is a time to favor foods that are lighter, warming, and gently stimulating for digestion as the body clears excess Kapha from winter.

When we eat with the season, the body often feels clearer, lighter, and more energized.

Your body isn’t separate from the season you’re living in.

As the environment changes, your body changes too. Our energy levels, digestion, mood, and even motivation can shift with the time of year.

Seasonal practices simply help us respond to those changes instead of pushing against them.

Early spring often brings qualities that feel heavy, slow, and stagnant.
Practices that add warmth, movement, and breath help bring the body back into balance.

Rhythmic movement and energizing breath help stimulate circulation to help “clear the fog”.

Practicing with the season supports the body’s natural rhythm and often helps us feel clearer, lighter, and more energized.

What has your body been asking for lately?

You’ve done breathwork in class but have you done 9D Breathwork?

9D Breathwork is something entirely different.

This experience combines guided breathwork, music, frequency-based sound, and spatial audio through headphones to create a fully immersive journey.Instead of thinking about the breath, you’re guided into it.

As the breath deepens, the body begins to release what it has been holding — stress, emotion, mental noise.
People often leave feeling:
• lighter
• clearer
• deeply relaxed
• emotionally reset
It’s powerful work, but it’s also incredibly supportive.

Come take a journey with your breath!
