Arcadia University Running Injury Clinic

Arcadia University Running Injury Clinic Comprehensive musculoskeletal exam, video running analysis, and home exercise education for runners.

This clinic is designed for runners/athletes of all ages and abilities who have an injury, are looking to prevent injury, or are looking to maximize their performance. The one-time session lasts for approximately 2-hours and consists of a thorough musculoskeletal physical therapy evaluation, which includes:
• Medical and running history intake
• Physical examination (strength, flexibility, balance

, alignment, function, etc)
• Video running analysis
• Treatment plan recommendations
• Home exercise program instruction

New research publication from Dr. Eckenrode and colleagues. For runners with chronic Achilles tendinopathy, a sequential treatment of noxious electrical stimulation followed by eccentric exercise resulted in a clinically significant improvement in pain and function.💥
