Since Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, and we have 6 more weeks of winter, we've been keeping busy inside today! Yesterday, although we were staying warm inside, we were in the mood to utilize our freezing temps by taking some clean snow from outside & turning it in to "Snow Cream." It was very sweet & tasted just like vanilla ice cream! Next, we made something silly called "Moose Farts", which was just as delicious! You're never to "old" or "young" to be a kid on a snow day! ☃️❄️🍨🫎

Today is National Fannie Farmer Day, so we did some baking! We made banana bread out of her cookbook & watched a documentary on her. Did you know that she enrolled at the Boston Cooking School at the age of 30? After attedning she wrote a cookbook & in it she provided scientific explanations on the chemical processes that occur when cooking, and helped to standardize the system of measurements used in cooking today!👩‍🍳🍽

Our friends from Wyoming High School came on their weekly visit this morning to learn how to make Monkey Bread..which we will sample tomorrow at our weekly coffee time.🐒🍞
