Staff Spotlight – Monica
This week we’re highlighting Monica—our billing specialist, HR support, organizational expert, and the brave soul tasked with keeping Kim and Rebecca in line (a job that may or may not be humanly possible).
Monica stepped in and somehow took on billing, HR, and overall organization like it was just another Tuesday—bringing structure to things that, historically… resisted structure.
She is incredibly hardworking and deeply committed to Keystone. The kind of person who doesn’t just complete tasks, but takes ownership of them—making sure things are done right, followed through, and don’t fall through the cracks.
And while she may work behind the scenes, Monica fully understands what we do here. She leads with kindness, respect, and empathy, treating everyone like a friend while still managing to keep expectations clear and people accountable (a rare and impressive balance).
She’s also become a steady presence in keeping things moving in the right direction—whether that’s making sure processes are followed, details are handled, or gently (or not so gently) keeping everyone on track.
A few times a week, she even takes on Highway 81 to be in the office with us—which honestly might be the most impressive part of her job.
And yes—she may be short, but everything else about Monica shows up in a big way.
We’re incredibly lucky to have her… and, frankly, we’d probably be a little less organized (and a little more chaotic) without her.
