West Michigan Clinical Research Center WMCRC is a research center working with Gastroenterology Associates of Western Michigan under direct care of Dr. Allan Coates.

Working with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, WMCRC is bringing new treatment opportunities to the Western Michigan community through clinical research studies. Dr. Allan Coates and Dr. David Tabor have combined experience of over 15 years overseeing clinical research trials. We are conveniently located across from Metro Hospital and will try our best to work with your schedule. All enrolled patients receive study related procedures and medications at no charge. You do not need insurance to participate and are typically compensated for time and travel. Are you living with diabetes and gastroparesis? If so, you may qualify for the envision 3D study if you meet the following requirements:
o 18 years or older
o Confirmed diagnosis of Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes
o Diagnosed with gastroparesis, including gastrointestinal symptoms such as: nausea or vomiting after eating, feeling too full after eating, bloating, throat or stomach pain within the last 6 months, or documented delayed gastric emptying within the last 2 years. Other criteria will apply.
