At Everlasting Wellness LLC, we are proud to be one of Pennsylvania’s largest all-women mental health private practice, founded and led by Amanda Hunter, LCSW. Our practice is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported—no matter how soft her voice may be. We specialize in maternal, reproductive, and trauma-informed care, providing compassionate and clinically sound therapy across the lifespan. With 40+ licensed female therapists and interns, and an all-women administrative and leadership team, our commitment to women’s mental health is unmatched. Alison is a Licensed Social Worker here at Everlasting Wellness who brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to the clients she serves.

As a NICU mom, 5k runner, and lover of butterflies, she knows firsthand the resilience it takes to navigate life’s hardest seasons—and she brings that same strength and compassion into her work with clients. 💜

Alison specializes in supporting:
• Women facing infertility & reproductive trauma
• First responders & healthcare workers
• Individuals navigating chronic illness and life-altering diagnoses

Her goal is to make every person feel heard, supported, and empowered as they reclaim their voice and hope. Whether you’re coping with reproductive transitions, managing the emotional toll of illness, or navigating burnout from high-stress work, Alison provides a safe and collaborative space to heal.

🕊 Su***de Prevention Week | A Spotlight on Maternal Mental Health

Maternal su***de is a leading — and often silent — cause of pregnancy-related death in the U.S.

🔎 According to the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health:
62% of pregnancy-related su***des occur between 43 and 365 days postpartum,
compared to:
➡️ 24% during pregnancy
➡️ 14% within the first 6 weeks postpartum

That means most maternal su***des happen after the 6-week postpartum checkup — when medical and mental health support often fades, but the challenges of new parenthood continue.

📊 Maternal su***de rates have remained largely unchanged for decades:
2.6 per 100,000 live births (2006–2020)
vs.
2.5 per 100,000 (1996–2005)

About Everlasting Wellness LLC and Amanda Hunter

Everlasting Wellness LLC was founded by Amanda Hunter LCSW, PMH-C, CCTP. After experiencing some challenges and developing a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder during pregnancy and the postpartum period, Amanda decided it was time to offer a specialty that not many offer, or even talk about, Perinatal (Pregnancy and Postpartum) Mental Health. After years of experience as a counselor, attending many trainings, and receiving certifications, Amanda opened up Everlasting Wellness LLC to offer services specializing in pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, surrogacy, childhood and adult trauma, PTSD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and geriatric issues. Amanda’s hope is to help provide guidance and support to live a happier and healthier life for the women and families of Berks County and Pennsylvania by offering online, in-person, phone, in-home and community setting counseling services.
