We just received word this morning that one of our long time, faithful volunteers passed away yesterday. Lois Boone was with us as an office volunteer for many years until her health prevented her from coming in any longer. She still continued to pray for us daily and often would drop by for a quick visit on Wednesdays. She was treasured by our staff, volunteers and many of our long time patients. Here are a couple videos we captured several years ago about her perspective on the work the clinic does and how being a part had affected her personally as a volunteer.

We will miss you dear Lois! Your generous spirit, faithful love, and poignant humor was a deep part of LWC. But we are so thankful you are with your heavenly Father, feasting in His banquet hall and standing up straight and pain free as you glorify Him today!

Across our communities and congregations, many people are struggling in silence. Pastors, ministry leaders, and everyday caregivers are standing in the gap, carrying the weight of others’ burdens while often wrestling with their own. That’s why Living Well Clinic continues to host Keys of Hope, a bold initiative committed to equipping the Community AND the Church with tools, training, and resources that support those who support, serve, or suffer with mental wellness challenges. It’s a dynamic event designed to empower leaders, uplift the weary, and strengthen our collective response to the growing mental health crisis.
