Barr's Pharmacy is proud to introduce Laura Leonard - Community Health Worker.

Laura was born and raised in Dayton and is a newlywed! She and her husband, Mike, live in Jamestown with their three dogs (two hounds and a husky/pitbull mix) and tuxedo cat Sylvester (a girl).

Laura's job is to meet with Medicaid eligible/enrolled participants and identify health and wellness risks, and then connect them with community resources to help reduce those risks.

When taking medication or starting a new one, it is important to understand the side effects and how to manage them.
